Arthur Troast, C.P.A.
Arthur Troast C.P.A. (and certified consultant for various accounting software packages used on the Mac and Windows platforms) puts over 25 years of experience to work for your business to create the results you need. He has worked with many companies in and around New York City and NJ that use MYOB, Connected, Quickbooks, Peachtree, and various other software packages on Mac and Windows. He can also work with your outside CPA as needed. He will put you in control of your business & help you grow.
Arthur has been a C.P.A. since 1985 and is licensed in the State of New York. He received a BS/BA degree in Accounting from Bucknell University, Lewisburg PA in 1983. He worked for Deloitte & Touche for 8 years and is currently a professor of Accounting at the City University of New York, Baruch College where he began teaching in 1992. He has introduced thousands of college students to the world of accounting and auditing. He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1985. Arthur speaks English and French.
Sharon LaRoux, C.P.A.
Sharon A. LaRoux has been a C.P.A. since 1992 and is licensed in the State of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of CPA's. She works closely with the team & has a 5 year track record of working with our clients to ensure their success & timely deliverables. Sharon has a BS/BA from Kent State University.
Sharon is proficient in MYOB (Mac & Windows) & key tax preparation software. She works to control your business and she prepares your business & personal tax returns.
Staci Purcell, C.P.A.
Staci Purcell has been a C.P.A. since 1995 and is licensed in the State of New York. Previously she worked for Arthur Andersen for 4 years and then 3 years at IBM in their Financial Planning and Strategy Group. Staci has a MBA from NYU and a BS degree from Cornell U. She prepares your business & personal tax returns.
Amarlies Gonzalez, Accountant
Amarlies Gonzalez has been a controller since 2008 and now works with Troast. Previously she worked for KPMG in 2002/2003 and then worked for the last 6 years in various professional accounting positions in private industry including her most recent controllership position for 2 years at a design agency in midtown Manhattan.
Amarlies has a B.S. in Accounting from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business and graduated in September of 1999. She works to control your business. She is expert in using Connected Accounting on Mac and Windows. She performs controllership services for your firm. She prepares your business & personal tax returns. She is fluent in both English & Spanish.
